About Dr. Chandra Villano, ND, LMP
Licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Exercise Physiologist in Leavenworth

Dr.
Chandra Villano is an Exercise Physiologist and a licensed Naturopathic
Doctor. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in
2004 from Bastyr University in Seattle and she completed a family
practice residency under Dr. Jacqueline Thomas. Dr. Villano’s
naturopathic consulting practice, Vibrant Health Services, is located in
East Wenatchee, WA. Dr. Villano specializes in consulting with
patients on issues of clinical nutrition and lifestyle enhancement.
Dr. Villano also enthusiastically presents corporate & community
wellness programs, instructs whole foods cooking classes, and
facilitates wellness retreats.
Outside
of Vibrant Health Services, Dr. Villano is a licensed massage
practitioner and a dynamic faculty member teaching anatomy, physiology,
and pathology for the massage therapy program at the School of
Therapeutic Touch & Body Work in Wenatchee, WA. She also owns and
manages Therapeutic Touch Massage & Wellness, a premiere day spa,
located on-site at the Icicle Village Resort in Leavenworth, WA.
Dr. Villano has ten years of clinical experience working in
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and is an American Heart Association
TEACH trainer (Teaching Exercise and Cardiovascular Health). She has
lectured extensively at medical support groups and conferences. Her
training under a Master Herbalist was a five-year herbal apprenticeship
in the Midwest. She has a Yoga of the Heart™ Cardiac and Cancer
Teacher Certification (from the director of the stress management
program of the Dean Ornish, MD clinical trials). She is a drummer and a
dancer, having trained in West Africa, and she is an avid gardener.
She and her husband love to hike and backpack in the splendor of the
Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Villano is one of the founders of the EASE Cancer Foundation
(Exercise and Survivorship Education,
www.easecancer.org),
a north central Washington based non-profit corporation dedicated to the
improvement of quality of life for cancer survivors, with an emphasis on
rural communities.
Dr. Villano seeks to empower the healer within each of us, and to
nurture our responsibility for vibrant health, personally and globally.
