BERGHOF KELLER WINERY
As a newcomer in the
Washington wine scene we are working very hard to produce quality wines
in the traditional German style. The area between Leavenworth and
Wenatchee, Washington is one of finest growing areas and is now
producing some great wines, both red and white.
At its heart, our varietals wine program focuses on showcasing the
intrinsic and renowned characteristics of high quality fruit from our
own vineyards as well as the Columbia Valley, which adds distinctive
aromas and flavors to our wines. The result is rich wines of complexity,
delicacy and intrigue that are supple on the palate and exhibit a core
of brightness that reflects the area in which the grapes are grown.
.
Open: Tuesday - Saturday
Hours: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Please call for special appointments.

Boudreaux Cellars
Boudreaux Cellars is located
on the Icicle River just outside of Leavenworth, Washington. Four miles
off the power grid (the only winery in Washington State completely
self-powered), Rob relies heavily on Nature in many ways to aid his wine
making. The 160 barrel cellar is completely underground providing very
constant temperatures for the somewhat extended two and three year
barrel aging. Above ground thick insulated walls and propane heat when
necessary provide good wine making conditions for blending, bottling
labeling, waxing, and shipping. Gravity provides transport for wines
from the press to the barrel. Blending is done in a series of tanks
ranging from 225 gallon poly to 1700 gallon French oak. The site is not
well-suited for grape farming although Rob is experimenting with pinot
noir, lemberger, and reisling in our estate vineyard.
Eventually the winery will be faced with local granite stone blending it
into the majestic Stuart Range setting. Just the drive from Leavenworth
up Icicle Road along the river to the winery is worth the trip. The
spectacular wines are a bonus!
The site is well-suited for living deep in the Cascade Mountains in
majestic surroundings and the views from the winery tasting room windows
are spectacular. The Newsom's log home, located next to the winery, was
used extensively as a location by Warner Brothers for the Steven Segal
movie, "On Deadly Ground".
Boudreaux Cellars is open by appointment only. Please plan ahead. The
winery is not accessible to tour buses. Roads are passable year-round
except during the worst snowstorms.
Call ahead for details if you are interested in bringing a group or van.
We want your visit
to be a pleasant adventure.

Icicle Ridge Winery
"Welcome Home to Icicle
Ridge" is what you will most likely be greeted with as you enter the
spectacular log home tasting room in Peshastin, Washington. And it makes
sense, as you truly are entering the 5,000 square foot home of Louie and
Judy Wagoner... and you will leave feeling like part of the family!
Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Icicle Ridge Winery
is aptly named for it's amazing views of Icicle Ridge. As you sit at one
of the massive hand-carved tables, enjoying award-winning wines, gazing
out the picture view windows overlooking the vineyards and the Ridge,
you just might be thinking you've quite possibly encountered the most
ultimate wine-tasting experience ever!
Many of our wines have been awarded top praise in numerous publications
and contests. But the biggest awards we are grateful for are the ones
straight off the wine-stained lips of our cherished guests. The same
care that was given to the workmanship of the log home is evident in
each and every one of our wines. Winemaker, Don Wood, alongside with his
father in law, Louie Wagoner are crafting incredible wines, year after
year. Whether it's the estate grown ice wines, specialty fruit wines, or
the well-known classic varietals, there is a wine for everyone.

La Toscana Winery
"La Toscana" was selected as a result of our love affair with Italy where Julie, my wife, and I lived for two years. During that time, we became acquainted with the wines and culture of Italy's northern regions. Upon retirement we moved to North Central Washington where we opened a winery and guest room modeled after those we had admired in Europe. A variety of red and white wines are handmade at La Toscana using both grapes from our own vineyard and purchased grapes. - Warren Moyles, Vintner

Napeequa Vintners
The
winery. The name. The pursuit.
The idea of a winery, which was to become Napeequa Vintners, formed in
2003 between then partners Dave Morris, Mike Mann and Ann Hathaway. In
May of that year, Dave met with Charles Smasne and Ray Sandidge, then of
Kestrel Vintners in Prosser, WA. Charles was acting vineyard manager and
Ray was head winemaker. On that meeting at Kestrel Vintners, Dave was
shown the winery, vineyards and was afforded the opportunity to taste
through some selected barrel lots. That meeting forged an inspiration
that would become the basis of Napeequa Vintners.
The following October, Dave, Mike and Ann bought a half-ton of Syrah,
Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese from Kestrel and Charles’ own
vineyard, to make a barrel each of the varietals. It was a stunning
amateur effort.
In April of 2004, Napeequa Vintners became a bonded and licensed winery.
The winery chose its name from one of the most breathtaking and
picturesque places in the Washington Cascades, the Napeequa River
Valley. The valley name comes from the renaming by A.H. Sylvester
(Wenatchee Forest District supervisor (1908-1931)) of the North Fork of
the White River to the ‘Napeequa River’. The name is Salishan for white
water, due to the river’s glacial silt.
In January 2010, Dave Morris became the sole owner of Napeequa Vintners.
His passion and pursuit is to create wines without compromise. And to
make the all-important connection between his wines and people who enjoy
them.
“I have yet to make the wine that’s in my mind’s eye. And there lies the
intrigue.” ~ David Morris, Winemaker.

Cascadia Winery
I am LIVING the DREAM by having an opportunity to create and share
quality wines that promote the NCW wine-growing region and offer lab
services to other wineries and wine enthusiasts supporting quality
wines.
The wine spark was lit after dining with Robert Mondavi at one of his
hosted dinner/jazz concerts at Mondavi Winery in 1983. Buoyed by his
suggestion to pursue an education in winemaking, I earned a degree in
Fermentation Science/ Enology from the University of California, Davis.
From there, I have had the blessing of spending over a decade working in
wineries throughout Washington and California, including Arbor Crest
Wine Cellars in Spokane, WA, where I met my wife, Lilith. For 18 months
I had the unique opportunity of researching the production of wines and
brandies while living in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, one of
the oldest wine making regions in the world. This brought me a joy of
understanding the value of wine as an essential element of lifestyle.
Two experiences enhanced my passion for wine and the stylistic
possibilities. Firstly, for nearly 4 years, I managed the wine program
at the highly acclaimed Canlis Restaurant in Seattle. The wine menu's
breadth and diversity in domestic and international wines introduced me
to a world of flavors I would otherwise not be able to afford. Secondly,
as Director of Winemaking Operations of the Monterey Wine Company, I
learned new techniques of winemaking from over a dozen high profile
clients and from our own introduction of high technology approaches.
Thank you for sharing my dream....
Alan Yanagimachi, Winemaker/Owner
