Carolyn Cruso
Coming to us from Orcas Island, Carolyn Cruso is an acclaimed
multi-instrumentalist and composer. She has toured widely in both the
United States and Europe, as well as producing eight CDs during that
time. She is equally at home on hammered dulcimer, flute, guitar and
vocals and performs a diverse array of original tunes and songs as well
as traditional material. Her instrumental compositions are mainly for
the hammered dulcimer and are inspired by her strong connection to
nature as well as her extensive travel and the cultures she's
encountered along the way. Her unusual and lyrical approach to the
dulcimer especially delights audiences and has even won over curmudgeons
who swore they hated hammered dulcimer! She is now celebrating the
release of her latest singer/songwriter recording, “Have You Ever,”
which spans genres from folk to jazz to funk to pop while maintaining
the focal point of Cruso's own elegant and sophisticated style.

PK Dwyer
With an eclectic and varied career that now spans over 40 years PK Dwyer
has had a successful hand in folk, roots, blues, cow punk, and good
old-fashioned rock & roll. He continues to be an innovative force on the
roots music scene today with his masterful & witty song writing, unique
style of blues and One Man Roadhouse Show live performance. In the last
decade, he has produced three successful CD’s: Up To My Balls In The
Blues, Blues Guy Now and Healed. All are raw & rip roaring takes on PK's
version of the blues.
In the summer of 2006 Dwyer was drawn away from Seattle, first to North
Carolina and then to New York City. He stayed four years making a living
busking the blues in Central Park & the subway. Then, always a traveler
seeking new adventure, PK made a move to the beautiful High Desert of
the Southwest . . . Now, when he's not out touring the back roads of
America with his wife and 2 dogs, you'll find PK out busking the streets
of Albuquerque - the place he now happily calls home. And also,
happily, PK Dwyer finds time to revisit the Northwest and…after many
years of absence…to do a concert at the Community Coffeehouse for this
year’s Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest. This is guaranteed to be fun!
